Dr. Susan Stover, noted professor in the Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis, reviews the research gathered by the California postmortem program and how it applies to the training of Thoroughbred racehorses. Dr. Stover, who earned her PhD at UC Davis and is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, has published more than 200 scientific articles, primarily on bone pathology in racing injuries.
