Dr. Susan Stover, noted professor in the Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences at the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis, discusses the impact of fetlock injuries on equine welfare, fetlock anatomy and function, fetlock injuries, and risk factors for fetlock injury. Dr. Stover, who earned her PhD at UC Davis and is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, has published more than 200 scientific articles, primarily on bone pathology in racing injuries.
