In today’s equine industry, data has become an essential tool for understanding performance and supporting
horse welfare. This course, presented by the Arioneo Institute, provides a practical first experience with equine data analysis: how to collect it, understand the language behind it, and connect physiology to performance. Part 1 of the course, "Discover the Equimetre Platform," includes a demonstration of the platform by analyzing the performance data of a Group 1 horse. Through the first video, you will:

• Explore the key functionalities and features of the Equimetre platform
• Learn how to navigate and interpret the platform’s data visualizations
• See how elite-level performance metrics are analyzed in practice

Part 2 of the course, "Equine Physiology Applied to Sport," is an introduction to the fundamentals of equine physiology in sport. The session covers:

• The Cardiovascular system: heart rate & recovery
• The Respiratory system: strides & locomotion
• Speed Analysis
